Homosexual

human action, person, black and white, monochrome photography, kiss, You probably know what this sexual orientation is. It's when a person is only attracted to people of the same sex. It's when boys like boys and girls like girls.

UPD:

Homosexuality is a sexual orientation that is increasingly gaining acceptance in society today. It is defined as the romantic or sexual attraction between two people of the same gender. This type of orientation is not a choice, but rather an inherent part of someone’s identity.

It is important to note that there is a difference between gender identity and sexual orientation. Gender identity is a person’s internal sense of being male, female, or something else. Sexual orientation is the type of romantic or sexual attraction someone feels towards another person.

Homosexuality is not a new concept. It has been documented in many cultures and societies throughout history. In some cases, it was even celebrated. However, in many cultures, it was considered taboo and even criminalized.

Today, society is becoming more accepting of homosexuality. In many countries, same-sex marriage is now legal. There has also been an increase in the number of LGBTQ+ rights organizations and events.

It is important to remember that everyone is different and that everyone should be respected regardless of their sexual orientation. Homosexuality is just one of the many different types of sexual orientations and it is important to recognize and celebrate all of them.

Queer

black and white, image, person, photography, mouth, Some people view this word in different ways. However, it's mostly seen as an umbrella term. That means you can use it to describe anyone that's a part of the LGBTQ community.

UPD:

The term queer has evolved over the years and reclaimed by many who previously saw it as a slur. It’s now celebrated as a symbol of diversity and inclusivity within the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Whether someone identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or non-binary, queer can be a term of empowerment and solidarity. It’s not bound by rigid definitions and celebrates the fluidity of gender and sexual identity. Queer is also commonly used by those who reject traditional labels and prefer a more open-ended way of expressing their experiences of attraction and identity.

11

Autosexual

person, muscle, sense, finger, This refers to someone who prefers to have sex with themselves over having sex with others. If masturbating is all you want to do, you could be an autosexual.

UPD:

Autosexuality is often characterized by an intense fascination with one's own body and sexual sensations. Those who identify as autosexual may find the act of self-exploration and self-pleasure to be more fulfilling than sexual activities with partners. It's a form of sexuality that is centered on oneself, both emotionally and physically. For autosexuals, self-love isn't just a mantra; it's an erotic reality. They experience genuine sexual attraction to themselves and may immerse in self-admiration before any outward expressions of desire towards others. This does not necessarily exclude relationships but highlights a preference for solo acts of self-intimacy.

12

Aromantic

human action, hair, person, image, girl, This refers to people who don't feel any type of romantic attraction at all. However, they can still feel sexual attraction.

UPD:

Being aromantic does not mean someone is incapable of forming deep, meaningful relationships. Many aromantics have strong friendships, familial bonds, and fulfilled lives with platonic partners. They might engage in activities typically associated with romance, such as dates or hand-holding, but do so without the association of romantic feelings. It's important to understand that being aromantic is a valid orientation and is distinct from asexuality, which refers to the lack of sexual attraction. Aromantic individuals may or may not be asexual and the diversity within this community reflects the uniqueness of human connection and attraction.

I love how a Sherlock gif was used for asexual

Bisexual means both sexes male or female. As for pansexual means all genders weather they are straight, bi, etc

Oh.... I just found a new word to describe myself..... Thanks Holly

Wow I just learnt a lot of new words

Those lesbian kisses all looked fake.

TheShinSakura: bisexual means they're attracted to two genders, usually their own and another one Where as pansexuals feel attraction towards everyone, regardless of gender identity. So really, boys are cute, girls are cute, those who don't see themselves as either/both/once one now the other/everyone is cute

It would be so much easier if people could love who they love and be attracted to whom ever they're attracted to. We don't need to label everything!

So much cisgendered white girl kissing... I mean even shane got with the swirl a lil!!

I don't get numbers 10, 16, and 17

Love that these are getting more attention :) this is the third article on sexual orientation other than gay/bi/straight in the last week :)
