1

Build a Fort

When it comes to kid inspired activities to do with your boyfriend, this idea is guaranteed to give you some snuggle time with your guy! Get together all of your pillows, blankets, and sheets to make a fort with, just like you did as a kid. If you want to make it even more romantic, try throwing around some Christmas twinkle lights! Then, you and your guy can hang out inside the fort with some snacks and a movie.

2

Plan a Laser Tag Date Night

Barney Stinson from How I Met Your Mother definitely got it right when he said that laser tag was awesome! If you have a local laser tag arena, plan a date night there! Play on the same team against others or play against each other. If you don't have a local arena, they sell laser tag toy sets in the store. Thus, you can get the game to play together in your own home or outside!

3

Have a "Kid Inspired" Meal

If you can afford to have a night to splurge a little on calories then why not plan a "kid inspired" meal for the both of you? Ask your guy about his favorite foods and drinks when he was a kid and then prepare a small feast! For some inspiration, my boyfriend and I had a "kid inspired" meal consisting of Mountain Dew, gummy bears, french fries, and macaroni & cheese. Needless to say I went to the gym longer than normal the day after, but it was worth it!

4

Play Video Games

If you still have your old video game systems in the house, pull them out and play your old favorites together! If not, may I suggest playing Minecraft together as it's a really fun team game. Together, you will get to collect items, build houses, and defeat bad guys! My boyfriend and I play all the time together and it has us laughing the entire time.

5

Arts & Crafts

Has there been a DIY project that you've been wanting to do lately? If it's not a super girly one, why not do it together? Make some new artwork for your place together or keepsakes to give each other. If your guy has a creative side, this is a great activity for the two of you. Plus, it's like making each other a little gift, which can make it a more sentimental activity.

Famous Quotes

Men in general judge more from appearances than from reality. All men have eyes, but few have the gift of penetration.

Have a Cartoon Night

Netflix has a huge selection of cartoon TV shows and movies, so why not make a night of watching them? They even have older cartoons that may remind you of your childhood! If you don't have Netflix, find a new cartoon movie or TV show to watch and make a date night out of it! My boyfriend and I actually first bonded while watching old episodes of the Rugrats together!

7

Plan outside Activities

I still remember being a kid and not wanting to come inside even when the sun went down! Try planning some outside activities that you used to do as a kid. Go for a bike ride, go rollerblading or scootering, or even just go for a hike. Not only is it a great kid inspired activity for the two of you, but it will also get you to exercise!

You know you're in a great relationship when the two of you can have a blast doing silly and child-like activities such as these. It can be a great way to bring new experiences to your relationship as well as create some great memories together! What kid inspired activities have you done with your significant other?

And this is why people have kids, so they can have an excuse! Great ideas! My hubby and I are film fanatics, so we always watch a little before bed. We used to climb together, which was loads of fun. I felt like I was trying to compete with him, which was funny as most of the guys would have a hard time keeping up!

Thank you me and my boyfriend just made out because I told him that I loved him
