No Fighting

Remember above when I said no fighting? It's true! If you are in the honeymoon phase of dating, typically there is very little to no fighting at all. All you want to do is please one another, not fight about the small things. We can all take a lesson out of this – don't sweat the small stuff girls!

2

Constant Agreement

With the honeymoon phase of dating, you typically agree with everything each other says. There is very little times when you two disagree or don't find a common ground somewhere. So ladies, do you constantly agree with your man? It might be because you are still in the honeymoon phase of dating!

3

You Never Insult Each Other

While you should respect one another no matter what phase of dating you are in, when you are in the honeymoon stage, you never, ever even dream of insulting one another. Heck, in the honeymoon phase, even uttering under your breath about your partner seems a little out there.

4

Sex All the Time

Sex is another thing that happens all of the time in the honeymoon phase of dating. While for some relationships, it might not ever fade out completely, but in most, when the honeymoon stage is over, the sex goes down a little to maybe a few times a week, instead of everyday.

5

Stay Calm under Pressure More Often

In the honeymoon phase of dating, couples constantly find themselves able to stay calm for longer periods of time versus blowing up instantly when confronted with a problem. For me, I've been in my relationship for over six years and I find myself blowing up more than staying calm – what about you ladies?

Laugh Together More Often

Now, I am not saying that when you are in a relationship, you never laugh together, but the honeymoon phase is all a constant ball of fun, it's easier and if you don't have any fighting, you probably just constantly laugh together.

7

Constant Touching

Does your man constantly have his arm around your shoulders or waist? Is he constantly touching you in public and private? While in some relationships, that might never go away, but constant touching is another sign that you're in the honeymoon phase of dating!

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

This "article" is such a bummer. To attribute frequent fights, insults, and aggrivation to a committed relationship is just sad. All healthy relationships will have disagreements; learning how to handle issues calmly and productively is a true sign of maturing out of the honeymoon phase, while fighting and "blowing up" (as you put it) at one another is detrimental and unhealthy at any stage.

Wow. Way to encourage young women to think a relationship isn't serious unless you stop touching each other lovingly or compromising on issues.

I think you are totally right , as in my parents who are married for 25+ years don't act like a new couple in their 20's than they have now in there 50's , but they love each other more, and respect each other more. Yes, they don't stare into each others constantly, or feed each other ice cream, but they take the time to have date nights, and care just as much. I think its amazing how many people want a relationship to stay the same as in non-stop touching and no fights, but learning more things about another that you like is always going to expose you to more things you don't like. How much you can learn to accept them is what makes a true love true. I might just be cheesy.

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years and have a son together and we still have all eight of these "signs." Just because we haven't had a fight and are constantly touching each other doesn't mean we don't know each others' faults, we just accept them and love each other no matter what...

What do you mean by 'honeymoon phase' of dating? Is that a good thing?
