29. You Ignore Your Problems Instead of Fixing Them

person,car,girl,blond,driving,

Where you used to talk things out and try to fix your problems, you no longer bother.

What's the point?

If there the same problems you've been dealing with since the beginning of the relationship, you're no doubt tired of them.

Even if they're new issues, you've reached a point where you just don't care about fixing them.

If you're on the fence about your relationship, seek relationship counseling for yourself first, then couples therapy if the therapist thinks that would help.

That is so true!! With my girlfriend and I -- it's all about the little things that cause fights.

That isn't good! Are you annoyed with your boyfriend?

The Little Things!! For my very recent ex there were no major "deal breakers" so i stayed with him thinking i needed to just put up with the little things. But a million little things built up resentment and frustration. Lesson I learned was to have higher standards and not hesitate to consider something a deal breaker.

Aww, I've actually done that to my partner before ... and it's not appreciated at all. Talk about it with him, see how he responds.

Aww Jesse, I'm sorry!

It's definitely frustrating at times. Our main problem is...he likes to throw jabs, low blows about a problem I'm struggling with. He always ends it with "I'm only playing" when sometimes he may be but other times...he's really not.

Might not be -- do you think you might want to move on and find someone that you want to be with?
