When you think about a successful relationship, you think of things like trust, loyalty, compromise, sacrifice and emotionally supportive love, but one key thing that you also can’t forget is the matter of sex. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are couples out there who operate on a less conventional or traditional level just fine, but in general, I happen to believe that sex and sexual compatibility of one of the most important factors to consider. Here are some reasons sex is important in a relationship.
1. Time Together
Simply put, having a healthy sex life massively increases the amount of quality time that you get to spend together, just the two of you. The bedroom is pretty much the only space where you can guarantee there won’t be a family member or friend to have to entertain!
Sex can help improve the level of communication between the two of you. Being open with one another about what you like and what you would like to do more of opens lots of areas of conversation and intimacy.
Being active and sexual on a regular basis puts you both in better stead to remain nice and healthy. Sex can be great exercise when you put the effort in, so make sure to up the ante every now and then to get the blood pumping!
4. Stress Relief
There is no doubting that relationships and adult life in general can generate a lot of stress, and sex is one thing that can really help to ease that. Having an orgasm releases a huge amount of endorphins that help you to do fell better emotionally.
5. Better Sleep
Having sex in the evening before you turn the lights off is great way to encourage better sleep through the night. Exerting yourself like that will make sure you drift off in to a satisfying slumber!
Like I said briefly above, sex is definitely a form of exercise if you do it right! And it’s definitely a more pleasurable and enjoyable work out that you are ever likely to get!
7. Heart Health
Among other things, regular sex can really help to improve your all-important heart health. It gets your blood pumping through your body at an elevated rate, which can help to remove carbon dioxide much more effectively.
The endorphins that I have already mentioned that are released after orgasm can do really good things for symptoms of depression. Not only this chemical benefit, but also the feeling of regular physical intimacy with a partner can help your mental health as well.
9. Immune System
Did you know that sex can help to boost your immune system when it comes to warding off colds and flu? That is surely a good excuse to get jiggy as many times as you can, especially in the winter!
10. Self Esteem
Sex is just a great way to boost your self esteem. If you have someone who wants to explore and worship your body all the time, it helps you to see you are worthy and deserving of that kind of attention.
