5. Create Ground Rules

You need to be honest with each other if you want this arrangement to work.

Try to create some ground rules.

Tell your partner about your daily rituals, like for example that you need to spend a couple of minutes alone when you come home tired from work so you can recharge your energy.

Shey Reel I'm in the same boat, and I accept that I can't sleep in but he always does. We don't live together yet but it's a good time for me to get jobs done, and also have a little me time as he sleeps til like noon! Although, he wants to lose weight so I'm forever encouraging him to get up earlier - I think I'll start setting the alarm soon hehe :P

My boyfriend loves to get up early and I pretty much sleep in till noon. In our defense, he works mornings and I work nights. That's the most annoying thing about living together I think.

So true. There is one thing i wanna add though, before moving out with your bf of gf. Know the person if hes early bird or night owl. This was always a reason of our fight before. Now im kinda adjusted. Im an early bird. Always starts the day early. I always wanted to go jogging but my bf just want to sleep. Eventually, i go on my routine myself and accept the fact that we are different.
