7 Ways to Keep Him from Cheating ...

Corina

Are you looking for ways to keep him from cheating? Statistics show that men usually cheat for two reasons: insecurity and boredom. Most of them want to be adored by their partners. They want to make sure that they are not disappointing them and that their significant other places them at the center of their life. Just like Kim Olver, therapist, says “men have an innate need to feel respected and appreciated by their partners”. They sometimes need to be their partner’s “hero” too. Of course, there are men who cheat just because they want to experiment or because they look for that tingling sensation to be with someone who considers them attractive. Here are a few ways to keep him from cheating that really do work:

1. Don’t over-Accommodate

One of the most efficient ways to keep him from cheating is by not becoming too comfortable with your relationship. Make sure you don’t lose yourself, since being in a relationship should not make you forget about all those things that make you happy. Also, your partner may realize that you are not that person they fell in love with, so make sure you always maintain a healthy sense of self in your relationship.

2. Don’t Be Too Controlling

Just like you, your man needs his freedom too! Don’t be too controlling and don’t suffocate him! The more strict you get, with all kinds of rules in your relationship, the more he will feel that his freedom is being restricted and he will be tempted to break all those rules just to be able to make his own decisions every once in a while.

3. Make Him Feel Wanted

There are a lot of men who cheat because they don’t feel wanted. Make sure your partner knows that you find him attractive, show him that as much as you can and make sure he doesn’t feel unappreciated. Show him you still fancy him, even after all this time and keep the spark in your relationship alive.

4. Let Him Have Time to Himself

Let your man have some time to himself every now and then, because just like you need to recharge your batteries, he wants to do that too. Don’t restrict his freedom and don’t be too clingy! Make sure you don’t monopolize all your partner’s time and let him pursue his hobbies and hang out with his friends when he feels the need to do that!

5. Be Aware of Your Emotions!

Make sure you are always aware of your emotions because women usually can communicate a lot without using any words. If you are feeling sad, angry or frustrated, try to determine the cause of those feelings and don’t let them interfere with your relationship if they have nothing to do with your partner.

6. Prioritize Your Relationship

In order to keep your man from cheating, make sure you always prioritize your relationship. Don’t neglect it because you are too busy at work or that you feel overwhelmed by all the responsibilities you have to take care of on a daily basis. Give your relationship the attention it needs to function properly and don’t take it for granted!

7. Find His Relationship Pattern

Find your partner’s relationship pattern because some men just think that it is hard-wired into their genes to have sexual relationships with as many women as possible. If this is your partner, then it won’t probably matter what you do. It takes for them to change their belief system and realize that a healthy relationship needs commitment and mutual respect for it to work.

Dealing with a cheating man is not easy, but there are a lot of things you can do to prevent him from hurting you. Do you know any other ways to keep him from cheating? Please tell us about them in the comments section!

ya most of my friends said i'm idiot. i know. but theres something between us that nobody know and now we got better now. he said i made he wants to be better person and now realized. but we don't know if someone would make him change. poor me haha but i know if i want i can meet better guy but i love him thats it. =)

I disagreed with this article ohhdee, u can never stop a man from cheating. He's either going to do it or not, but it's the girls choice to either stay an put with his bs or move on to the next and look for a man who would treat her right. I believe that all women should know there worth and if they show guys that, the right one will love her for that.

a guy cheats because he has his own issues to deal with. nothing u do can change that. guard your heart, move on and good luck.

this must have been written by a desperate housewive who's man is cheating on her as we speak haha bubble life

I was cheated on by my last bf, and one thing I learn is that it isn't your fault but it's an insecurity/issue within the man themselves. Remember that ladies. A man who loves and cares about his relationship will not cheat bc he knows he's cheating himself. I don't think there's anything you can do to stop someone from cheating they have to feel that the relationship they have is valuable.

if a guy wants to have sex with another woman for wtv reason, he's going to do it. I have unfortunately been asked to be the other women countless times with guys who I thought would never cheat on their girlfriend of wives, bud tegu did or want ti

To be honest, a cheater will still cheat even if those conditions are met. A trustworthy guy won't cheat even if you break those rules. I don't the responsibility of the one being cheated on should be emphasized like such.

This is such fucking bullshit. This made me mad to even read. Basically.... 1. Don't ever feel comfortable 2. Let him do whatever he likes without regard for your feelings 3 & 4. I agree with 5. Don't show emotion that isn't positive. Don't express your feelings to your man - must act like perfect emotionless fem bot 6. Only your relationship matters. No hobbies allowed. Oh, and better not work and spend time away from him!!!!!! 7. If he cheats it must just be because it's hardwirwd, so it's ok.

From my personal experience, a cheater is a cheater and there is not a lot you can do to change him. However, I also do believe a lot of the points made in this article to be somewhat true! Good job!!

70% true fact!
