Hormones

In the aftermath of an orgasm, your body releases a plethora of different hormones, chief among them being oxytocin. This is otherwise known as the ‘love hormone’, and is linked to things like binding, loyalty, and trust. When your body is coursing with oxytocin, your brain will no doubt trick you into thinking that you are much more in love and attached to a person that you actually might be. You want more of that sexual feeling, and so you continue to go back to the person who provided it to you!

2

Less Cortisol

If you think of these hormones as doing battle with one another, then something that oxytocin does is wipes out cortisol, and cortisol is the major stress hormone within your body. By getting rid of a lot of this cortisol, you will find that you feel lighter and more content after a satisfying sexual encounter.

3

Serotonin

Another big player in the game is serotonin, which is a neurotransmitter that is released to regulate your mood and make you feel nice and peaceful. You will find that with more serotonin in your system, you are a much more happy and hopeful person, and if that isn’t an advert for having as much sex as possible, then I don’t know what is!
