Looking for some great date ideas for Valentine's Day? It’s that time of the year and we are all starting to get excited as we wonder how our significant other will be surprising us, or how we can surprise him for Valentine’s Day. When you love someone it can feel like Valentine’s Day throughout the year, but there is still something very special about that day. I’ve listed 10 date ideas for Valentine's Day. Choose any of them, whether this is your first date, or you are in a long-term relationship.
1. A Romantic Dinner for Two Never Gets Old
Make reservations at your favorite restaurant or a new hot spot you’ve been dying to try out. My personal favorite is a romantic dinner on the beach or a river overlooking city lights. This is one of the best date ideas for Valentine's Day!
2. Take a Stroll with Your Sweetheart as You Take in the Gorgeous Sunset
Hold hands and sip on hot chocolate or any other favorite drink.
3. Enjoy a Beautiful Hike Outdoors
Fresh air and exercise will do both of you some good and will get your endorphins going!
4. Go on a Weekend Getaway Together
Nothing says romance like a trip together!
5. Go on an Ice Cream Tasting Date
Buy 3-5 different containers of ice cream and whipped cream. Spend the evening at home tasting them. If you are feeling really adventurous, you can add some chocolate syrup.
6. Take a Drive to a City You’ve Been Wanting to Check-out
Car trips can be a lot of fun with the right person.
7. Book a Couple’s Massage
You don’t even have to leave the house. Get some candles, massage oil, and soft music and do it for each other at home. It’s a great way to unwind and feel great for the rest of the day or evening together.
8. Choose a Beautiful Park to Have a Picnic at
Pack your favorite picnic-friendly foods to enjoy with your sweetheart. A personal favorite of mine is strawberries!
9. If You’ve Been Together for a Long Time You Could Recreate Your First Date
Recreating your first date could bring back some of those old sparks!
10. If You Are in a Long-term Relationship You Could Take a Class Together
Be it a dance class or cooking class, find what you and your honey have been wanting to try together. This is the perfect time to sign up for it!
