So, you are a single mom and have decided to date again and now you need dating tips for single moms. What kind of guy do you want to date? The SINGLE GUY or the SINGLE DAD?
Never thought of it before? Well here are some pros and cons of both and some great dating tips for single moms.
The Single Dad
That means he's more likely to understand your life and your rules. Finding a like-minded single dad is one of my best bits of dating tips for single moms.
If you accidentally talk about your kids too much on a date, it's more than likely he is too, so you won't feel like you're boring your date. I'm a full-time mom and Play-Dough and Spongebob are my life.
Enough said.
When you get your kids together, they may not get along, no matter how much you and the new guy like each other.
The Single Guy with No Kids
It's flattering to know that you are still desirable and attractive, even if you are a mom.
When you date a man with no kids, he probably has a more fluid schedule than a man who has to manage his time with the kids.
A man without the responsibility of kids will not understand that you can't come out at 10 pm on a whim. He's able to and he'll want you to be able to as well.
This could be a pro or a con, depending on whether or not you want more kids or not. If not, it could be hard to form a relationship with a man who does.
