Plan Something Low-Key

The holidays are a busy time for everyone; so if you’re looking for an excuse to see your guy, plan something low-key. Chances are that you’ll both be a lot more comfortable because you won’t be expected to dress up or deal with a lot of people. Sometimes we just need a little bit of a breather during the holiday season—give each other an excuse to relax!

2

Invite Him to a Big Family Party

If you’re up for the challenge, invite your guy to go to a big holiday party with you. It’s probably one of the easiest places to introduce your guy to the family, because a big crowd takes the pressure off. It’s still nerve-wracking, but a lot more relaxed, and it gives you an excuse to see him this break!

3

Plan a Party with Friends

Make plans for a party this New Year’s Eve. It’s the perfect way to get a midnight kiss from your guy! You’ll have a blast with your friends and dressing up and you’ll get to spend time with your guy! What could be better than that?

4

Find Something Fun to do

Although a lot of people just run for the closest blanket during the winter, there are actually a lot of activities you can do together! Go sledding, ice skating, or even just go Christmas shopping together. Do something fun together for a memorable winter break!

5

Don’t Get Upset if Things Don’t Go Your Way

Planning anything during the holidays is an ordeal in and of itself. If something comes up and you can’t hang out, or he has to cancel plans, be okay with it. Don’t freak out, because things happen, and then plan to hang out another day. It can be discouraging, but you’ll figure out your plans eventually!

Famous Quotes

To give oneself earnestly to the duties due to men, and, while respecting spiritual beings, to keep aloof from them, may be called wisdom.

Don’t Push Him about His Family Events

If he’s not ready to introduce you to his family yet, try to be okay with it. It may be a little discouraging, but you’ll both get there eventually. Rather than get discouraged, make plans to see him another time on your own together. It will probably be more meaningful anyway!

7

Make Time for Each Other

It can be easy to let winter break pass by without making plans, so make it a point to see each other at least once over winter break. It all begins with wanting to see each other and making time, after all!

What’s your favorite holiday activity to see your guy? Will you be doing any of these this winter? Are you making plans or playing it by ear? The holiday season can be pretty tricky! Let me know in the comments!
