Country boys are a type of men who tend to be quite underrated in pop culture today. Rom-coms seem to portray a man in a suit as the perfect boyfriend and it is not often that you see a country type as a romantic lead. However, country boys make terrific boyfriends. Country boys are without a doubt the manliest men. They enjoy the outdoors and are never afraid to get dirty! From their scruffy beards to the way they are always out fixing things. What girl doesn’t want to date a manly man?
Who wants to go on another dinner and a movie date? Dating a country boy can be very romantic because the dates are more unique and give you a better look at their personality. There are many activities you can engage in such as boating, swimming, 4-wheeling, camping, and so on. The list is endless. Not only will you feel a stronger connection on these dates, but they will make you feel more special than a run of the mill date.
Looks are not a huge issue for country boys. When going out they only need to shower then put on a ball cap and plaid shirt and they are ready to go. There is no waiting around for them to style their hair or trim their beard perfectly.
I have no idea how they do this, but country boys can fix absolutely anything! Many women lack this skill and a country boy can easily fill that void. A country boy can change your tires, fix your fridge and build you a gazebo all in a days work. He probably actually enjoys it too!
This is not meant to be shallow; the reality is that money goes further in a rural area than an urban area. A country boy can build a fairly large house for the same price that it would cost to rent a small apartment in the city. Wouldn’t you rather wake up to the sound of birds and a view of a river than to the sound of traffic and the view of concrete?
This is the general attitude for most people living in a rural environment. In the city everyone is always on the go. In the country there is more opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy your surroundings. Instead of always being on the go, you and your boy can relax and enjoy each other’s company.
All country boys can hunt. Yes I realize that in today’s world we can easily go to the store and pick up whatever you want, but it’s still comforting to know that your country boy can provide for you. Your freezer will probably be full of deer, rabbit and fish. This also cuts down on grocery expenses.
Country boys can often see women as a completely different species, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. They see women as fragile beings who like to be clean and treated with respect. Because of this they will treat you very delicately and pretty much cater to your every need.
When country boys come together life is never boring. If you’ve ever seen Duck Dynasty you will understand exactly what I am talking about. Country boys can make fun happen out of nothing. Shooting skeets in the dark with a flashlight for example. I am not saying that you will necessarily enjoy or approve of what they are doing, but you will be entertained.
While I can’t promise that all of these are true for all country boys, they do all have some combination of these qualities. Dating a country boy is like an adventure. You can never be quite sure what will happen, but every step is exciting. So come on out to the country and find yourself a keeper.
