Warning Signs to Watch for to Know if Your Partner is Cheating ...

There are definitely some signs your partner is cheating. At some point in your life, you will have doubts concerning the person you’ve entrusted your heart to. Whether they've done something to arouse your suspicion or you’re just overthinking the slightest of actions, you’ve ventured online to seek out answers from the internet. Well, look no further! :) As a woman that’s been through the insecure stage, the-woman-who-got-cheated-on-by-a-narcissistic-pig stage, and now the happily in love stage, I consider myself to be somewhat of a pro at being able to discern when a significant other is being disloyal. So here it is: my six signs your partner is cheating.

He or She Goes out of Their Way to Keep Their Cellular Devices out of Your Reach

In this era of social media and a multitude of chat apps, those with wandering eyes have access to a plethora of different ways to indulge their insatiable appetite for side action. Of course, there will be a noticeable difference in how they handle their devices when they’re around you. Did he change his password to prevent you from having access? Is she leaving the room to take mysterious calls, or answer a seemingly innocent text message? Is there a new man or woman that your significant other began texting on a regular basis out of the blue? I’m not saying to jump the gun and outright accuse your man/woman of cheating. If you wish to be discreet, just keep an eye out. However, the best thing to do is to be honest with your partner. Confront them directly and talk about this, which is one of the biggest signs your partner is cheating.

UPD:

Pay attention to sudden changes in their routine or appearance. Has he started working late nights unexpectedly, or is she suddenly more concerned with hitting the gym and looking her best – but not around you? These could be natural changes, but they might also raise red flags, especially if paired with secrecy around their phone. It's essential not to jump to conclusions, as these behaviors could have innocent explanations. But if your gut is telling you something is off, it's time to have an open and honest conversation about your concerns.

They’ve Cheated before

This may be an obvious answer for you, but sometimes your own feelings may blind you from the obvious. In rare cases, the person that cheated cleans up their act and you decide to stay together. However, a lot of cheaters lack the discipline needed to remain devoted to their loving partner. They fall into the same pattern they did the first time they broke your heart, and probably have no issues doing so again. Go with your gut feeling.

3

They Look for Reasons Not to Spend Time with You, or Be Seen with You

I know this through firsthand experience. I remember when my ex-boy-pig and I went to Dave & Buster’s for a cute, moderately priced date. The woman he was cheating on me with also happened to be there. Unaware of why he suddenly decided to drag me out of the establishment, I elected not to ask questions. However, you’re not here to read about my crappy experiences. If a man/woman is two-timing you, he will try to avoid going out with you as much as possible. Why? Because they simply don’t want you and their side piece to meet. Now before you make all kinds of assumptions, there could be other reasons why. Like me, they could be an introvert. Again, ask questions.

4

You Came between Him/her and a Previous Lover

I have no personal experience with this, but I have witnessed enough failed relationships to notice a pattern. Ever heard of the phrase, “how you get them is how you lose them?” It rings true in almost every case. If you began a romantic relationship with someone who is unable to remain committed to their partner, then do not expect them to remain loyal to you. It doesn’t matter if they were unhappy, separated, or any other excuse they gave you. Relationships that start off in this manner hardly ever last.

UPD:

Ending up as the third party in a pre-existing relationship often initiates a chain reaction of trust issues. The justification for leaving someone to be with you might later haunt your relationship – creating a perpetual cycle of doubt and suspicion. It's a precarious foundation for any partnership; if they've strayed once, who's to say they won't wander again? This isn't just about them; it's about recognizing your self-worth. Deserve someone who appreciates and chooses you openly, not because of circumstances, but in spite of them.

5

He/she Becomes Antagonistic and Leans towards a Divorce/break-up

Contrary to popular belief, cheaters do have some sort of heart. Maybe its hidden inside of that icebox (points for whoever gets the reference) that is supposed to house their conscience and humanity, but who knows. Cheating has never been my shtick. Unable to break the news to their loving partners, disloyal people will often attempt to nitpick, irritate, and antagonize you over minor things, hoping that you will break it off with them. Therefore, they’ll no longer have to feel guilty about cheating on you

Your Gut Feeling

I’m not talking about indigestion. If you get that nagging, undeniable feeling that your significant other is drifting into the arms of another, your intuition is almost always correct. However, don’t make any rash decisions. Either confront your significant other with your suspicions if you have no tangible evidence or get your affairs in order before making rash decisions if you do have evidence

Overall, do what your instincts tell you. Recognize what you deserve, and don’t be afraid to voice your concerns to your significant other. Communication is a building block in any healthy relationship. In addition, not every person is the same. Good luck! <3
