Things to do if You Cant Spend Christmas with Your Partner ...
By Suzy

Do you need some things to do if you can't spend Christmas with your partner? Christmas is a crazy time - things are so busy and hectic! Sometimes we have other commitments on the day itself that means we can't spend it with our other halves even if we want to - that's my current situation this year - and if you find yourself in the same one, here are some things to do if you can't spend Christmas with your partner.

1. Do Winter Activities

My boyfriend and I went to a Winter Wonderland fair and went ice skating. Doing winter activities in the run-up to Christmas means you and your partner can feel festive together even if you're apart on the day itself. This is one of my favorite things to do if you can't spend Christmas with your partner.

2. Have Your Own Christmas Day

This is such a nice idea - do Christmas properly - the dinner, the presents, the movies...it'll be your very own Christmas Day, which will make up for not being together on the real one.

3. Speak to Each Other on the Day

Even if you can't see each other on Christmas Day, you can still speak and say Merry Christmas - it's better than nothing and will make you feel closer.

4. Spend New Year Together

If you can't do Christmas, do New Year's together. Do something special - it's nice to do something for such a big day of the year. Start the year as you mean to go on - together.

If you're looking to engage your partner in intriguing conversations, why not try some hypothetical questions for couples? These fun queries will not only keep the conversation lively but also stimulate deep thoughts and potentially reveal insights about each other's personality and thought processes.

5. Try and Make It Happen Next Year

Maybe this year was an exception, or maybe you'd already made other plans. Either way, if you can't spend Christmas together this year, agree to make it happen next year and that'll be something special to look forward to.
