Although your studies are your top priority, there are tons of ways for college students to find a boyfriend. You have an entire campus filled with potential mates. Once you get to know some of them, you’ll figure out which one is the one for you. If you’re struggling to get a date, here are ways for college students to find a boyfriend:
1. Join a Club
Joining a club has multiple benefits. You’ll get to have fun doing something you enjoy, you’ll gain more school spirit, and you’ll get to know others with similar interests. Every guy that you come across will have at least one thing in common with you, which is whatever that club specializes in. One of the easiest ways for college students to find a boyfriend is to sign up for activities and events that they love.
2. Leave Your Dorm
If you’re always in your dorm, you’re isolating yourself from the rest of your peers. Try to keep out of your room as much as you can. The more you’re inside, the fewer opportunities you’ll have to socialize. Eat in the campus cafeteria, study in the campus library. Place yourself around people, and good things will follow.
3. Go out Alone
If you’re always surrounded by a group of friends, boys will be too timid to approach you. Getting rejected in front of a crowd is always worse than getting turned down in private. Even though you might feel awkward, you should eat alone every once in a while. A cute guy might be alone as well, and it’ll be the perfect opportunity to get to know him.
4. Take Your Headphones out
In order for others to approach you, you have to use certain body language. If your head is down and headphones are in, people will assume that you wish to be left alone. Instead, try to look approachable. Don’t sit in a corner where no one will see you. Place yourself in locations where you’ll be noticed.
5. Talk in Class
Answering your professor's questions can do more than land you a great grade. If you speak in class, others will feel like they know you. They'll hear your voice so often that they'll get used to having you around. It’ll be easier for them to have a conversation with you when they feel comfortable with you.
6. Get a Job
If you land a job on campus, you’ll get to know co-workers that attend your university. If you work at a Starbucks or another popular establishment, then your peers will be coming and going all day. They’ll start to see you as a familiar face and will recognize you when they see you around. It’s a great way to start conversations, and begin a friendship that could lead to so much more.
Smiling is the answer to everything. When you walk past a cute guy, smile at him. Chances are that it won’t make him stop in his tracks to introduce himself. However, if you walk past him every single day and keep smiling, he’ll stop eventually.
When you’re hoping for a relationship, you can’t be too social. By getting to know more and more people, you’ll open yourself up to more opportunities. Is there a boy at your college that you’re attracted to?
