1

Go on a Date

Go on a Date One of the easiest ways to reconnect with your significant other is going on a date. Even long time married couples need to go on a date from time to time. Get dolled up, make reservations at your favorite restaurant or do something that you both really love to do, but never get the time to do because of your hectic schedules. You'll get a chance to catch up and feel like you did back when you were first dating.

2

Plan a Trip

A great way to reconnect with your significant other is to take a trip. You can arrange to go someplace you've always wanted to go for a long time, or you can just plan a simple weekend getaway at a bed-and-breakfast in a nearby town. The point is to spend uninterrupted time together.

3

Talk

It may sound too simple, but it's true; sometimes all you need to do to reconnect with your other half is talk. Talk about your true feelings and be open and honest. Talking can do a world of good for you both.

4

Flirt

Flirt Remember when you first started dating and you flirted all the time? It made you both feel special, didn't it? Well, it can make you both feel special and reconnected again. Go on, give it a try.

5

Touch

Touch Touch is quite a powerful thing. It is sensual and connecting. Try giving one another massages, playing with each other's hair, scratching each other's backs or even just holding hands. You'll be surprised how much touching will reconnect the two of you.

Famous Quotes

Men in general judge more from appearances than from reality. All men have eyes, but few have the gift of penetration.

Revisit the past

Revisit the past Taking a walk down memory lane can be a wonderful way to reconnect with your other half. Talk about how you first met, where you met, what you used to do together and where you used to go. Talking about the past will make you both feel nostalgic and it will remind you how much you cared for one another then - and how much you care now. My husband and I always love recalling the days of our young romance, back when we were both college students. Each time we talk about those days, we fall a little more in love with one another. It may sound silly, but it's true.

Write Love Letters

Write Love Letters While talking is certainly an excellent way to reconnect with your significant other, what if you aren't good at expressing yourself verbally? Sometimes, it's easier to say how you really feel through writing (I know it is for me!). Try writing each other love letters and exchange them with one another on a special day, like your anniversary. Or, you could turn any day special by writing your partner a note to say "I love you." Leave the note on his pillow, in his briefcase or on the bathroom mirror.

The trick to any successful long-term relationship is staying in love with one another. It may seem obvious to say this, but it is true, and it can also be a challenge. Try these tricks for reconnecting with your loved one. Which ones sound most appealing to you?

How do You rekindle something when your life seems too busy with the kids and the hubby works all the time and when you go to hug him he prefers his iPad

My guy moved really fast but we fell deeply in love; things were great until we moved from LA to AZ. Just couldn't afford the lifestyle anymore. We hermit now because it's soooo hot out! This apartment is depressing and I'm dragging down...other than great sex I'm feeling really stagnant. Past few days I even feel annoyed with him and even sort of flat emotionally which is scaring me. I don't know what to do! And we are flat broke, won't even have a car in a couple of days. I don't know what to do :'(
