You and Your BF Should Agree on These 7 Things ...

Opposites attract, but that doesn't mean that it's healthy for all of your opinions to differ. If you can't agree on anything, then you'll never make your relationship work. In certain situations, it's important to be on the same page. Here are a few things that you and your boyfriend should agree on if you want to spend the rest of our life with him:

What Counts as Cheating

What Counts as Cheating If he thinks that sleeping together is cheating, but you think holding hands is cheating, then there's a problem. He might be hanging out with his female friends, letting them touch him and sit on his lap, thinking that you don't mind. That's why you should ask each other what constitutes as cheating. Then you won't end up breaking up over a miscommunication.

2

Where You'll Spend the Holidays

Where You'll Spend the Holidays If you want him to visit your family for Thanksgiving, but he wants to spend the entire day with his family, then there are bound to be fights. If you're serious about him, one day his family will become your family. That means that you two need to decide where you'll spend each holiday. Create a schedule that you can both agree on.

3

How You'll Budget Your Money

How You'll Budget Your Money Financial issues are one of the biggest causes of divorce. That's why you should ask your man how much he intends to spend every month. If he wastes all of his money as soon as he gets it, but you want him to put half of the money into the bank, you're going to butt heads.

4

If You'll Have Children

If You'll Have Children If he's the man you're going to spend the rest of your life with, you should agree on children. Do you both want them? If so, how many do you want? What religion are you going to teach them about? What type of school are you going to enroll them in? These are all important questions.

5

If You'll Get Married

If You'll Get Married You don't have to get married in order to spend the rest of your lives together. That's why you should ask him if he wants to get married or not. If he does, then ask him if he wants a big or small wedding, and if he wants to go on an expensive honeymoon or a cheap one. You need to agree on these things.

Famous Quotes

To give oneself earnestly to the duties due to men, and, while respecting spiritual beings, to keep aloof from them, may be called wisdom.

Where You'll Live

Where You'll Live If you want to live in the city, but he prefers the countryside, you'll have to come to a compromise. Long distance might work for a while, but it won't work in the long run. You need to agree on where to live, so that you can start your lives together.

7

If You'll Drink and do Drugs

If You'll Drink and do Drugs If you're against alcohol, but your boyfriend drinks and smokes pot, you could have some major problems down the road. You need to see eye to eye on issues like these. If it bothers you that he drinks every night now, it'll only get worse as the years go by.

If you're not sure where your boyfriend stands on these issues, you need to sit him down and have a talk with him. It's important for you two to be on the same page if you want to be together forever. Do you and your boyfriend agree on any or all of these issues?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I concur!!!

My BF is not speaking to me atm :-(

These are all things besides the first one that should be agreed on once you and your boyfriend either become engaged or are starting to talk about it. Not when he is just boyfriend status. That's a lot of really serious things to talk about and agree on for a relationship that's not even talking about marriage yet. These are kinda dumb.

Religion is important too

No. 2 is my biggest concern although I dont have one now

I would imagine that if you and the guy haven't agreed on #1 & #7 after a few dates, you aren't going to be together long enough to deal with the remaining five issues. "Oh, honey, speaking of porn, I was just thinking, you know, hypothetically, how many kids would like to have?" Silence...sound of door slamming. "So, roughly, how much DO you spend on pot? This shit's sick, but it must cost a fortune....hey, come back here with that...." Sound of door slamming. "So I was thinking, let's go to my mom's place in CT for Thanksgiving..." Silence....sound of door slamming. "So, like, we're s snuggling on the Craftmatic, watching reruns of Eight is Enough, and he says, 'I can't wait to start a family', and I start laughing and say 'oh yeah, I can't wait to start popping out babies!" And he gets real serious, 'you want kids, right?' And like, I am off that bed, grabbing my jeans jacket and heading for the door, 'call ya later' I yell over my shoulder as I'm closing the door..."

Having an issue with number 7 at the moment

Tip number 7 . The first sentence is exactly the problem i have . Im against alcohol but my boyfriend drinks and smoke pot . Tho he does not do it often . But it saddens me

Hey beautiful how are you doing?

I agree with all these. They should be talked about asap, or the relationship will fail. I don't believe in marriage or a particular religion and I don't want children ever. Three things that I have to disclose upfront or if they have different opinions the relationship will only end in heartbreak.
