Romantic movies are pretty unrealistic if you think about it, but there are some things that happen in romantic movies we wish were real. It's an opportunity for us to see characters live out the things that we can sometimes only dream of. There are some truly great and inspirational moments in romantic movies, and here are just a few things that happen in romantic movies we wish were real.

1. A DRAMATIC KISS in the RAIN
Oh, come on, this is every girl's dream. A romantic kiss is the rain is one of the many things that happen in romantic movies we wish were real. We've all seen "The Notebook" and the countless other romantic movies where there's a dramatic kiss in the rain. It just feels so raw and passionate and something that we'd no doubt love to experience ourselves.
2. A NO-EXPENSE-SPARED MAKEOVER
The leading lady will perhaps wear a heart-stopping, credit-card-destroying dress or she'll go all out and get a whole new wardrobe and general makeover - I'm thinking about "The Princess Diaries" and "Pretty Woman" specifically here. What we wouldn't give to be in their shoes - literally!
3. A SUPER-ROMANTIC DECLARATION of LOVE
A key part of any romantic movie is the dramatic declaration of love that usually happens at the end. It can happen after a last minute dash to the airport/train station, at the altar of a church or somewhere else very public. If you minus the cheesiness, it's pretty romantic and something we'd love to happen to us.
4. MEETING the PERFECT GUY
The leading man of any romantic movie is always perfect. Yes, he may be a little rough around the edges, but he always has a heart of gold. He'll be loyal, handsome, selfless, romantic and he'll love the girl like mad...*sigh*. Meeting the perfect guy obviously isn't impossible for us mere mortals but it seems to happen so much easier in the movies.

These fun queries will not only keep the conversation lively but also stimulate deep thoughts and potentially reveal insights about each other's personality and thought processes.
5. GETTING an AMAZING HAPPY ENDING
The great thing about romantic movies is that there's always a happy ending. The guy and girl get together and we're left to assume that they lived happily ever after. Our lives and relationships are not always as straightforward, so wouldn’t it be nice if we could get our guaranteed happy ending like Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston and the like?!
