If family is a tough subject for the person you're dating, it can be an opportunity to show empathy and compassion. But tread wisely- make sure you know them a little first before approaching the topic of family! It could be too much for them to share at the very beginning.

Everyone loves to receive compliments, especially from a romantic interest! It boosts confidence and creates a stronger emotional bond. So, don't forget to give out compliments! Make sure they are organic and authentic though, you definitely don't want to come off as fake!

Remember to compliment yourself as well! Keep it private (you don't want to seem conceited 😜) but definitely do it. Remind yourself that you are worthy of great love and be specific about your strengths! At the end of the day, you have only yourself to approve of because others will always come and go.

Don't be afraid to be vulnerable and share what you're passionate about. Whatever your passion(s) my be, it's awesome to hear someone talk about it with depth and intensity. You immediately feel connected to someone when you dig a little deeper into who they are! And, don't forget to show enthusiasm about their passions, too!

In all honesty, if the person you're dating hasn't responded to your last few texts or calls, take it as a hint that there's no interest there. It hurts, that's for sure. But it happens and consider it one step closer to Mr. Right! 💃🏻

Keep in mind that there are tons of people out there! Don't waste your time on someone who doesn't see you for the gem you are! Physical attraction is important but so is personality and how they treat others. If you see any red flags, run ASAP!
