When you know that you’ve met the love of your life but you’re not with them, it’s nearly impossible to get over them. You know that that person is out there and you know who they are, but you can’t be with that person. Plus, nothing really big probably happened to end your relationship, making it even harder to get over the love of your life.
It’s so much easier to get over someone when they’ve done something wrong to you. Whether you were cheated on, or you got into a huge fight, or you just really didn’t get along as well as you thought you did, it’s much easier to get over someone knowing that it didn’t work. When you’ve met the love of your life and nothing really happened to break you up, it’s nearly impossible to move on!
There is nothing worse than awkward, uncomfortable first dates here and there, but that’s what you’ll be subjected to after meeting the love of your life. You’ll try to give other people a chance but it’s hard to get serious when you know there’s someone out there who’s perfect for you.

No one understands how you could be so hung up on one person. You don’t really understand it either, but that’s beside the point. People set you up with great dates and while they’re good on paper, they’re not good for you. People may start to think you’re crazy, but let them!
Just because it hasn’t worked out now doesn’t mean that it won’t work out in the future. The timing may have been off before, but that doesn’t mean that in a few years you won’t reconnect and fall in love again! Being hopeful is a great quality to have, especially in love!
