There are several reasons to wait to become intimate. Sex isn't something to take lightly. This is something that is suppose to be sacred and let's just be honest, not everybody deserves to sample you. This is a part of you and you can't get it back once you have given it away. Ask yourself this: who really deserves this part of you? Too many people use and abuse this attribute of yours (including you) to their advantage, and in most cases you are left out to dry or even worse, empty. This is why it's even more important to wait. Here are 5 reasons to wait to become intimate.
One of the reasons to wait to become intimate is that it allows you to get to know each other first. Many times we just dive right in, not even getting to know this person that we are surrendering ourselves to. Ok, you may never really get to know anyone, but at least you can have some kind of premise and the longer you stall them out the more the true self will eventually unveil itself. No one can pretend for too long - they will crack at some point.
A lot of us just want to experience this because it's the latest talk and every where you turn you see something alluding to it. It makes you curious, it makes you want to delve more into, but do understand that just because it's pervasive doesn’t mean it’s the ideal thing to do. Examine it and understand how you will feel once you've taken that plunge
Just because you know people who are having sex doesn’t mean you have to partake in it. There’s plenty of us who wish that we would have waited. It's actually an incentive to be classified as one of the ones who hasn't trotted down this road before. This part of you if indeed very special and should remain special as long as possible.
You will definitely see a lot of intimate acts plastered everywhere, but one thing you won’t see are the repercussions. Like running back and forth to the doctor for something you feel that isn’t right. Information on these kinds of incidences are never blatantly displayed. It's all about the indulgences and not about the possible aftermath. You just never know, and it’s better to be safe than sorry.
You may involve yourself with someone you no longer want to deal with, so now a lot of times we go out and find someone else and then the same thing happens again. It eventually becomes a repeated cycle. Believe it or not, we think about these things later and it can sadden us to a point when we start to feel hopeless and helpless, and who wants to feel like that? It's just better to refrain yourself, that guilt trip will drive you insane.
Waiting isn't such bad thing, it can save a lot of headaches and heartaches.
