1. Be Planned & Prepared
Even though you don’t know your date, you still want to make sure that you are planned and prepared for your date. Have some conversation topics in mind; wear a great outfit that makes you feel confident. Make sure that you plan on a place that you know that you’re going to like. Even though blind dates are scary sometimes, that doesn’t mean you can’t be prepared for it!
2. Meet at a Local Public Place
As I said before, you don’t know who you’re meeting. Whether you met the guy online or you are being set up, always make sure that you meet in a public place. A local coffee shop, a restaurant or even a crowded shopping plaza to walk around the city all make great public places for a date!
3. Arrive Early
Whenever you are going on a blind date, you always want to make sure that you are arriving in a timely manner – which means early. You should arrive at the very least 15 minutes early. It’ll give you time to primp your hair, straighten your outfit and it’ll also give you time to scope out the guy after he arrives!
4. Be Yourself
This is by far the most important rule of a blind date: be yourself. If the guy starts to like you and you aren’t being yourself, he’ll end up liking someone that you aren’t. Ladies, just let your personality come out, break down some of those walls – it’ll make all of the difference in the world!

6. Things to Watch out for
On any date, there are things that you’re going to want to watch out for. Him being late, his attire, and the way he talks to you and finally, if he tries to put the moves on you. These are all things that you want to keep in mind whenever you’re on a date!
7. End the Date on a Good Note
No matter what happens, even if you don’t feel that spark, make sure that you end the date on a good note. Give him a hug, maybe a kiss on the cheek; who knows where you might see him next! He might not be the right guy for you, but that doesn’t mean you have to be horrible to him at the end of the date!

Anonymous: i had a similar experience abt a yr ago. Although i saw his pics on facebook b4 we finally met. It was a wonderful experience all d way. I arrived at our meeting point a bit late due to traffic. I walked into d restaurant and looked around but he wasnt in sight. And i got angry n tried calling his phone when a head popped frm d hidden corner in d restaurant. Obviously he has been watching me all along. I went to d table and sat, smiled at hin and said hi. We connected perfectly. I had a nice day.that relationship is a yr nld nw and we are getting married soon.
