1. Passion, Passion, Passion

The best relationship you can have is with someone who’s your best friend and your lover. If you’re in a relationship that’s become sex-less, you might as well be dating just a friend. Yes, it’s that simple. Relationships need passion. They need excitement and sexiness. Having sex with your partner keeps the passion alive. It makes the relationship desirable, stimulating, and fun.

2. Stress-Free

Having sex helps relieves stress. It releases endorphins and other hormones that make you feel good. When you’re stress free and feel great, you function better.

3. Keeping the Connection Alive

Sex is something simple you can do to make yourself (and your partner!) very happy. It promotes intimacy, reassurance, and shows you both that you’re wanted and needed. It tells your partner that you can still make time for each other. Sex a form of communication. It’s a way of assuring your significant other that the love is still there and everything is okay, regardless of how stressful life becomes.

4. Sleep Tight

Sex helps you sleep better. It’s not just the fabulous romp session that makes you sleep like a baby. After sex, a chemical called oxytocin is released, which helps you sleep soundly.

If you're looking to engage your partner in intriguing conversations, why not try some hypothetical questions for couples? These fun queries will not only keep the conversation lively but also stimulate deep thoughts and potentially reveal insights about each other's personality and thought processes.

5. It Makes You Happy

People who have sex very often are generally happier than those who don’t. Having sex puts an extra pep in your step. It also boots your self-confidence and gives you a better positive attitude about yourself.

6. Keeps Your Partner Happy

When men are stressed, sex makes them feel better. It makes them feel wanted and needed. Plain and simple, having sex makes a man feel good about himself. If you’re in a sex-less relationship, your partner isn’t 100% satisfied. It’s a no-brainer that if he isn’t happy with your sex life, he’s going to start looking for sex from someone else.

Sex is the glue that’s needed in a relationship. It re-connects you and puts you in tune with your partner. Sex keeps your relationship alive. Don't you agree?

Kellee said it perfectly with the suggested title/healthy sex life. And gAh. It is pretty obvious this website is made for the 20s+ crowd. It would be damn near impossible to monitor all the readers! And so that's where a parent takes over- monitoring what their child is looking at on the World Wide Web.

Sex does matter but it's not everything. It certainly is in the beginning but a true life long soulmate consists of much more then just sex. I know, I'm 30 years old have been married, gave my partner all the sex he wanted and it got me nowhere but divorced because he cheated. It's more about compatibility but sex is definitely important but it's certainly not the be all, end all x

This article implies that sex is something fun that spice up a relationship and if you are in a sexless relationship, you might as well just date a friend. It's not a necessity.

    @Olivia, I think once you're 18+ you're a woman.

Most of this I did not agree with. This was quite odd to read. Sex is something extremely personal and doesn't need to be defined as any more important than what constitutes a relationship. This is basically saying that a relationship is nothing without sex. So wrong.

Most if the time I don't even feel like it because I'm too tired. It's not the be all and end all

Agreed - you know sex is important when even during conflict you both still want the intimacy despite the lack of an immediate resolution- it's a biggy!

"It’s a no-brainer that if he isn’t happy with your sex life, he’s going to start looking for sex from someone else." Gosh, where's the trust? If that's what you think about relationships, maybe you shouldn't be in one. A man should want you for more than sex. If that's the deciding factor if your relationship, then good luck..

I would just like to see an opinion based upon the other side of the spectrum. Reasons why sex isn't the most important thing in a healthy relationship. Sex is important I believe to increase relationships on a deeper level but aren't other things needed as well? You really have to Trust someone to love you for you and reveal your body. You have to respect the other persons needs and acknowledge them as well. And you have to be responsible, listen to eachother and care for one another
