1. Pro: He is a Parent Too
That means he's more likely to understand your life and your rules. Finding a like-minded single dad is one of my best bits of dating tips for single moms.
2. Pro: You Can Talk about Your Kids
If you accidentally talk about your kids too much on a date, it's more than likely he is too, so you won't feel like you're boring your date. I'm a full-time mom and Play-Dough and Spongebob are my life.
3. Con: the Mother of His Children Could Be Psycho
When you get your kids together, they may not get along, no matter how much you and the new guy like each other.

5. Pro: He is a Guy That is Still Interested in You and Knows You Have a Kid
It's flattering to know that you are still desirable and attractive, even if you are a mom.

6. Pro: His Schedule is More Open
When you date a man with no kids, he probably has a more fluid schedule than a man who has to manage his time with the kids.

7. Con: He May Be Less Understanding
A man without the responsibility of kids will not understand that you can't come out at 10 pm on a whim. He's able to and he'll want you to be able to as well.

8. Con: He May Want Kids of His Own
This could be a pro or a con, depending on whether or not you want more kids or not. If not, it could be hard to form a relationship with a man who does.
