There are several secret fears men don't like to talk about. Thanks to generations and generations of stiff and unbending gender roles, rules and expectations, men have come to be seen as the species of human that shouldn’t be scared or worried about anything, and if they are, there is something wrong with them. Believe it or not, there are still some people out there who hold the belief that a man should be a stoic, unfeeling creature, one that it isn’t intimidated or threatened by anything and one that should leave all of that feelings and emotions business to the ‘fairer’ sex.

Let’s be real. It’s 2018 and it’s time to start looking at things in a more sensible and realistic way! When it comes down to it, guys probably share all the same fears and worries that girls do, but from childhood, they are conditioned not to talk about these things in the same way that we are. To share a fear or worry is to reveal a weakness, and perceived weakness is still something that a lot of men out there don’t want to ever be associated with.
