1. Know the Basics

You should really know the name of the person you're about to sleep with. Even if you don't intend on seeing them ever again, you need something that you can scream out when you reach climax. You also should tell your friends the name of the guy you went home with, just in case anything bad happens to you. That way, they can tell the cops about him, so they can get you home safe.

2. Talk about STDs

It's awkward to ask someone if they have herpes, but it's something that you have to do. You don't want to end up with an STD after one night of meaningless sex. That's why you should ask your partner if they've been tested recently, if they know if they have an STD, or if there's any chance they've contracted an STD recently. It's better to be safe than sorry.

3. Share Comfortable Silence

You shouldn't sleep with someone who makes you anxious. After all, sex is an intimate experience. You want to be with someone who won't make you feel self-conscious about your body. You want to be with someone who won't make you blush if you end up queefing or getting stuck in your shirt as you lift it over your head. You need to find someone you're completely comfortable around.

4. Kiss

You can't walk before you crawl, and you can't have sex before you kiss--or at least, you shouldn't. A kiss can tell you a lot about a person. If you don't like their kissing style, then you probably won't like their sex style either.

5. Go Back to Their Place

If you don't go to their place, then where are you going to have sex? Inside of the bathroom of the bar or in the back of your car? While those are sexy places to get dirty with your boyfriend, they're not the best places to sleep with a stranger. It's a little sketchy.

6. Stalk Their Social Media

Make sure you use your phone to look up your partner's Facebook page before you two get physical. If you see something you don't like, then you need to get out of there fast. You don't want to end up doing something you regret.

7. Develop Some Sort of Feelings for Him

Some women want to have a deep emotional connection with a man before sleeping with him. However, if you're planning on having casual sex, then you should at least have physical feelings for him. After all, if you don't find him attractive, why would you want to sleep with him? Everything will feel more intense if you have something nice to look at during the act.
