He doesn't need to be kept interested, he should have the emotional capability to sustain interest. If he likes you, he likes all of you. If he loves you, he loves all of you. Period.

Be yourself, and if he likes you for who you really are, you have a great chance at being with someone who is truly compatible with you... not some false pretense or temporary change in your behaviour. Real men prefer honesty. Sure, it's nice to sometimes feel like the girl you like is chasing you a little, but it's not necessary to go out of your way... Just be real :)
