1. WHERE do YOU like to BE TICKLED?
This is one of the biggest signs the online dating message you got is from a creepo and it is more common than you know. It is often insidiously mixed between other “getting to know you” questions, and it is a sign he wants to start being dirty online. Avoid at all costs.
2. The SAME MESSAGE AGAIN like a REALLY WEIRD DEJA VU
Men create online messages and copy/paste them to lots of different women. Ever noticed how you somehow get the same “sweet” message from a guy in the same month? It is because he has lost track of who he has and hasn’t sent this message to.
Frequently asked questions
3. SORRY, YOU'RE NOT VERY PRETTY
This is a classic line that men think they are being original with. The trouble is that women get it all the time. It is based on the “women love jerks” principle. But, what these men fail to realize is that being a jerk online is not what gets women going (it just gets them leaving). The men expect an angry reply so that they can come back with some canned but supposedly sweet line. The best reply to this, “Sorry, you are not very pretty” is “Good luck with this strategy.”
4. CREEPY to the EXTREME
Here are a few of those signs the online dating message you got is from a creepo based on sheer 100% creepiness.
"You are so pretty, you are like a teddy bear sliding down a rainbow into a pot of honey" (to a 19 year old girl)."Hi, I know I am 53, but when I shave my beard I get asked for ID to buy cigarettes. "I would like to strip you down and butter you like bread and shave your armpits and pour honey on your naked body." Anything like this should have you logging off and looking for someone else.
5. When COMPLIMENTS ATTACK
There are just some messages that deserve an essay writing about them. This little message was sent to a 42yr old single mum and it said only this: “I dig you. Kewl bewbs.”
6. JUST TRYING to GET a REPLY
The best example is the guy who said, “Your profile is dull and your pictures are boring”. She replied with, “Not this pickup sh**te again” so clearly she has been online dating for at least a few weeks. He replied with, “Ha, but got a reply from you and I want to make this work.” Just block and avoid losers like this one. The “please don’t respond” because… are also messages that are just being sent to get you to reply. They are manipulative but must work or else why do guys keep trying this crap?
7. The GUYS WHO TRY to HYPNOTIZE YOU
This happens SO MUCH it is unreal. Look online for so called instructional videos that guys are watching on this sort of thing, and you may realize just how pathetic some men are in this world.
8. The "do YOU" QUESTIONS
These are questions built to try and get a certain response. The men are fishing to see if you want cyber sex or to meet for casual sex. Avoid guys who send messages such as these:
Do you ever get lonely?
Do you watch porn?
Do you like to be tickled?
Do you like excitement?
Do you like sitting on Santa’s lap?
9. I'M TRYING to FIND SOMEONE for MY HUSBAND
About as low and sleazy as you can get isn’t it. There are guys going online and setting up female profiles so they can solicit sex from women. One of the most common messages is, “I’m trying to find someone for my husband whilst I am out of town” but others are, “I have a male friend who is really well hung…” or “…who is really great in bed…” Block these profiles and report them if you get the chance.
If you're trying dating websites, good luck. Remember these tips and I hope you find your prince.
