1. Compliment Him

It's okay if you're too shy to strut up to him and comment on how unbelievably hot he is. However, you should give him smaller compliments about how much you like his haircut or how great he did at the football game. If you like him, there are plenty of genuine compliments that you can give him. Once you do, he'll start to notice you more, because you clearly noticed him.

2. Touch Him

Physical contact is a great way to show that you're interested in a guy and to test if he's interested in you. You shouldn't go around groping all the cute guys that you see. You should just squeeze your crush's arm when you compliment him and touch his thigh when you laugh. If you're lucky enough to earn a hug, make sure that you linger afterwards for an extra intimate moment.

3. Give Him Your Number

I know it's scary, but you need to give him your number. Start a conversation with him in person or online, and then when he mentions how he can't wait to talk to you about the concert he's going to tonight, slyly mention that if you had his number, he wouldn't have to wait to hear from you. There are plenty of ways to casually ask him for your phone number. You just have to think on your feet.

4. Ask Him to Hang out

Once you have his number, you're going to have to ask him to hang out. You don't have to bluntly tell him that you want to go on a romantic date with him. Just mention how you've been dying to see the movie with his favorite actor in it. When he agrees that he wants to see it too, you can suggest that you go together.

5. Use Your Friends to Get Him

If you're too shy to ask him on a date, see if one of your friends can get a group together to hang out. Since your pals love you so much, they'll make sure to arrange your seats at the restaurant so that you and your crush are next to each other. Then the sparks can finally fly.

6. Look at Him

You don't have to tell him that you like him with your lips, because your eyes can do the talking for you. You don't want to stare at him for so long that he gets uncomfortable. Instead, you should occasionally glance at him from across the room. If you're lucky enough to have a conversation with him, make sure to keep your eye contact. The more he sees your beautiful peepers, the better.

7. Lean in Close to Him

It sounds terrifying to kiss him before he tries to kiss you. However, it's a little less terrifying to just lean in for a kiss. If he goes the rest of the way, great! If he doesn't, then you can pretend that you were just leaning in to whisper something into his ear or to get a piece of lint off of his shirt.
