1. Adventure

A lot of girls fear that being spontaneous or being someone who chases thrills, whether that’s rock-climbing or extreme sports, will chase boys off. If you seek adventure, don’t tone that down just because you’re worried a guy won’t like it. Most guys actually seek out girls who are adventurous and spontaneous!

2. Introvert Tendencies

If you lean towards the other side of the spectrum, in that you prefer to spend time alone, reading or watching your favorite TV show, don’t worry. There are guys out there who like to do that just as much as you do, and you’ll find the right one for you. In fact, most guys who are introverted are specifically looking for girls like you, just like you’re probably looking for guys like them!

3. Independent

It is insane to me just how often girls will lose all sense of their independence because they think that that will attract men to them. That couldn’t be further from the truth. In fact, most men prefer a woman who’s self-sufficient and doesn’t need him to hold her hand constantly.

4. Crazy-Colored Hair

A lot of girls will hold off on dyeing their hair, even if it’s something that they really want to do, because they think that it will scare off potential boyfriends. That’s so far from the truth, though. There are actually so many guys out there who prefer women with crazy hair, and even if they don’t, if they really like you, they can look past your pink hair!

5. Body Piercings and Tattoos

I know a lot of girls who have said that they wouldn’t get any body piercings or tattoos until they’re married and their husband can have a say in it. That’s so insane to me! You’re the person whose body the tattoo or piercing is going on, so you should get the ultimate say in it, and your eventual boyfriend will just get used to it!

6. Non-Mainstream Music, Movie, Shows, or Interests

It’s so rare for a guy and a girl to have the same interests. Don’t get me wrong- it happens, but more times than not, no matter what your interests are, the chances of you finding someone whose interests line perfectly with yours are so slim, so why hide away your own interests? There’s no reason to hide your own interests in hopes of finding a boyfriend, because everyone has different interests!

7. Shyness

It’s okay to be shy and not so outgoing! You’ll find someone who brings out those parts of you that you need help bringing out on your own, or you’ll find someone who’s just as shy who works perfectly with your personality! You’ll figure it out!
