Drive in Theater

Going to a drive-in movie theater is most definitely on my summer bucket list. Unfortunately, the nearest one to me is about two hours away so if you have a local drive-in theater, take advantage of it! There's just something about it that'll make you feel like you're in a scene from Grease. Have you gone before? This is just one of many romantic summer date ideas.

2

Go to a Carnival

There are always local carnivals going on! Find out about your town's festivities and make a date out of it. Riding the Ferris wheel with your significant other is pretty much on everyone's to-do list. Am I right?! Plus, it's pretty much tradition that your partner try to win you your favorite stuffed animal. Document the whole night with fun photos and don't forget to share some cotton candy!

3

Picnic at the Park

Picnics are always really simple yet totally effective. Even if it's out in the open, picnics can be such an intimate experience. Fill your basket with all of your favorite foods and spend the day chatting at the park. You could even wait till the night time and have the picnic under the moonlight! Star gazing, anyone?

4

Go to a Farmer's Market

Lazy Sunday mornings should be spent at your local farmer's market. You can nibble on all the samples and chat with hardworking farmers. Then, bring all those yummy ingredients back home with you and spend the rest of the day making a mess in the kitchen with your love! How awesome does that sound?

5

Go to a Music Festival

I don't know about you, but there's nothing I'd rather do more than spend a day listening to good music. Going to a music festival with your significant other is always so much fun because you get to bond over your favorite artists. Sharing the same music taste with someone is always the best!
